CORTA-V (S/N) is a clear, orange-coloured synthetic cutting-oil, which turns fluorescent green in acqueous solution and it's totally soluble in water. It's formulated based in boron amine derivatives, anticorrosives, lubricants, humectant agents and detergents. Its nitrite free composition fulfills the more and more strict measures taken by the public authorities, in order to keep the ecological balance and the environment.
The spill of metal mechanizing products from industry, with high contents in nitrites as oxidation protection in soluble and emulsible cutting oils, as well as the probable production of nitrated amines, have lead us to study new synthetic cutting oils which, keeping their cutting, cooling, oxidation power, lubrication and protection properties, remove from their composition every component which could produce nitrated amines or pollute the environment.
