Oxide converter coating, designed for application on oxidized iron and steel.
The coating forms a film which turns black when dries due to the conversion of the oxides into complexes with that colour.
Normally it's enough to apply a single coat. In order to assure total oxide conversion, it's recommended to apply two coats, especially on areas where there's the most rust.
