TECMA-EP3 is a silicon free unmolding-nonadherent agent. Due to the absence of silicon derivatives, TECMA-EP3 is especially recommended for unmolding plastic products which are to be painted, printed, varnished, metal-plated, etc., with no adherence problems of inks or varnishes to be used, as usually happens when using silicon derivatives.

The use of TECMA-EP3 is recommended in molding and unmolding processes for polystyrene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, phenolic resins, urea, melamine and in general (with a previous test) the most frequently used material in injection molding.

Due to its nonadherent character, TECMA-EP3 can be used in welding processes with CO₂ as protective gas, in order to avoid the splashings from adhering to the welding nozzle, thus keeping them clean and protecting them from a quick decay.

The light film of TECMA-EP3 that remains on the treated surfaces, has an oily character and can be removed, when necessary, with water and a little bit of detergent.
